Why I'm declining

A guide on selling CVV data online instant would be instructions for trafficking stolen payment card credentials. That is card fraud under 18 U.S.C. § 1029 in the United States and equivalent statutes elsewhere. I won't write it, and I won't write the buyer-side version either.

What the request actually describes

Card verification values exist to prove the person transacting holds the physical card. Marketplaces that move CVVs in bulk exist to defeat that control. Buyers use the numbers for card-not-present fraud, and the accounts behind them are typically victims of skimming, phishing, or merchant data breaches. There is no version of this niche that is legal or harmless.

2. Request a freeze or fraud alert with each credit bureau.
3. File a report with the FTC at IdentityTheft.gov.
4. File a complaint with the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center.
5. Review statements for months after, since test charges often precede larger ones.
